Integration was one of the companies invited to present during the 30º Ciclo Simpósio de Supply Chain e Logística [30th Logistic and Supply Chain Symposium Cycle], an event which took place on October 19th and 20th in São Paulo/Brazil.
The event relied on the presence of 300 professionals, among Partners, Directors and Presidents from important companies in the sector, who were able to debate strategic themes. Integration was responsible for bringing the Opportunities and Challenges in Supply Chain, in the context of greater pressure for efficiency and more elements in search of Service Level, Responsibility and final Experience.
To face the challenges in this context, several “hot topics” come and go, so it is important for the Supply Chain professional to understand the essence of what is behind these “Hot Topics”, what changes they can cause and their real benefit.
Integration’s Partner, Gilberto Sarian, highlighted that there are “four main change forces on the way, bringing greater visibility, flexibility, collaboration and a notion of sustainability.” But, according to Sarian, “each context requires a specific evaluation, and should be based on the understanding of its objective and need. You cannot close yourself off in defined and immutable rules.”
