Integration Consulting took part in the VII ABOL Congress hosted by the Brazilian Association of Logistics Operators (ABOL), engaging business leaders from Brazil’s logistics sector and beyond on topics such as labor, return on investment, automation, agility and greater efficiency in logistical processes.

Integration director Luis C Vidal participated in a panel discussion on the topic “Warehouses of the Future”, led by GEODIS Business Director, Paulo Cesar Franceschini. The discussion revolved around the motto of “think big, start small and act quickly” in relation to automation.

The panel discussants addressed various developments and strategies related to the future of warehouse automation, citing an interesting project by the Dafiti Group: the largest e-commerce fashion distribution center in Latin America, an AI-controlled facility of over 54,000 m² that houses the largest automation solution in the world – AutoStore.

Luis C Vidal of Integration Consulting emphasized the importance of corporate culture when it comes to “Warehouses of the Future”, arguing that open-mindedness is key to innovation.

The ABOL Congress began on Wednesday and ended this Thursday at the Hotel Histórico Fazenda Dona Carolina, located in Itatiba, in the interior of São Paulo.
