How was the conference

Promoting Integration’s efforts to support companies in navigating the food system transformation, @Sarah Rodrigues from the Munich Office attended Future of Protein Production Live in Amsterdam. The conference brought together key industry players focused on tackling the challenges of scaling production, navigating European regulatory hurdles and enhancing consumer acceptance through transparent communication and education.


One highlight from the event was an exclusive presentation by ProVeg International, offering a sneak peek into findings from their European consumer acceptance survey for alternative proteins. An interesting point of reflection for companies in this space is how to leverage all the untapped potential for educating consumers more about how plant-based foods are produced – which would go a long way in raising acceptance and moving the industry forward.


She also had the pleasure of meeting with participants who had heard of Integration through our co-authored report on Fermentation Manufacturing with the Good Food Institute.
