“Industry, distribution and retail must work together to mutually leverage each other, not operate in isolation.”

This was one of the central messages from the inaugural meeting of the new Supply Chain Efficiency Committee launched by the Brazilian Association of Wholesalers and Distributors (ABAD), in São Paulo.  

Alongside Integration partner Roger Saltiel, our director Alessandra Reganati co-coordinates ABAD’s newly formed committee. This sector-wide initiative brings together industry, distributors and retailers to the same table for the first time under a structured agenda. 

The event gathered executives from across the wholesale distribution sector to map shared priorities: from demand forecasting and distribution center efficiency to touchless order fulfilment and dynamic last-mile delivery. Discussions will continue in the months ahead, feeding into the 45th ABAD National Convention this June.
