Integration Shares Expert Insights into the Health & Beauty Industry

The Health and Beauty Association Webinar

Last Thursday, June 24, Integration’s Freya Tomley, Jamie Gale and Robin Griffiths hosted a webinar together with the Health & Beauty Association (H&BA) to discuss the main commercial impacts of the recent global pandemic and to identify priorities for the UK’s health & beauty industry moving ahead.

The webinar focused on a detailed report containing an assessment of 30 interviews that Integration and the H&BA conducted with representatives from health & beauty firms in the UK.

The three main themes that we identified were:

  • Health & beauty suppliers are looking to understand how to grow post-pandemic by identifying new spaces for growth
  • Firms are seeing increasing pressure in their traditional channels, which is changing the way they approach the leading pharmacy and supermarket chains
  • The health & beauty industry sees changing consumer demands, such as an increasing demand for sustainability, as a key priority for 2021

During the webinar, we presented the findings of the report to around 40 health & beauty firms, with led to an interesting discussion centered around shared learnings across industries, such as how food & beverage firms have experienced similar changes in their businesses recently.

We would like to thank the H&BA for agreeing to collaborate and host this eye-opening event as well as all the participants for joining in on the discussion and sharing their perspectives.
